It has always been important for us at Enhanced Children’s Care to bring a different kind of Children’s Residential Service to the North East of England. Our focus is to provide an “enhanced” level of care and exceed expectations. Moreover providing positive, improved futures for the young people we look after in Teesside, County Durham and the North East.
- Care – to enable our children and young people to develop their individuality and independence.
- Service – delivering a consistent standard that is appropriate and responsive to the individual’s needs. In an efficient and effective manner to help our residents fulfill their emotional and social needs.
- Value – to make our services as affordable as possible and available to the many, not the few.
- Partnerships – to maintain honest, open and fair working practice with our NHS and Social Service partners.
It is our choice of staff and consultants that is at the heart of Enhanced Care. Consequently we only appoint people who are experienced and professional. People who enjoy caring for others as if they are looking after their own family. Furthermore we have a continuous, comprehensive training and assessment programme and continually monitor feedback from our children and their families.
Our staff liaise with local and host area Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) because we need to ensure a young person’s mental health needs are adequately met.
Our management and residential support staff have extensive experience working with children and young people in residential care. They work alongside NHS child and adolescent mental health services in the north-east.
Looking to the Future
Enhanced Care is looking to expand its Children’s Care Services beyond Middlesborough, Teeside and County Durham to right across the North-East of England. We also have a programme of developing and improving all aspects of our care homes, including the maintenance and technology of our facilities, employee development and the latest in therapeutic and medical care.
